The Ducky Cushion 98 combines a more compact 96% layout with an especially soft typing feel. For this, Ducky relies on its specially developed Nest Mount and the quiet Ducky Shush Red switches. The linear switches move smoothly without noticeable tactile resistance. The Ducky Cushion 98: Mechanical gaming keyboard with a special typing feel

The heart of the Ducky Cushion 98 is the Ducky Nest Mount. Instead of cushioning the keyboard only at specific points, a dedicated cushioning layer distributes pressure evenly across the board. This makes the keystroke feel soft and controlled. At the same time, typing noises are reduced. This tuning quickly becomes noticeable, especially if you type a lot or share your setup with others.

Ducky Shush Red: Quiet switches with linear keystroke

The Ducky Shush Red switches have a linear characteristic. When pressed, the key moves down smoothly without overcoming additional tactile resistance. The switches require 43 gf actuation force, actuate after 1.9 mm and offer a total 4 mm key travel. The integrated cushioning reduces noise both when pressing through and when the key springs back.

Want a different typing feel later? No problem. The Ducky Cushion 98 features hot-swap sockets. This allows you to remove the mechanical switches without soldering and replace them with compatible models.

The Ducky Cushion 98 uses a compact 96% layout. This gives you many functions of a large keyboard including a number pad, but takes up less desk space. When gaming, this leaves more room for mouse movement. The PBT keycaps in Cherry profile are designed for fast typing and gaming.

Three connection options for your setup

You can connect the Ducky Cushion 98 in three ways: via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth or USB-C. Up to four devices can be used via Bluetooth. The integrated battery has a capacity of 4,200 mAh and achieves a runtime of up to 63 hours with lighting off.

The gaming keyboard remains flexible in configuration as well. Via the browser-based DuckyHub, you can adjust functions and lighting without needing to download additional software. Additionally, the Cushion 98 supports VIA.
