The Right Battery for Every Application

• Many small devices like remote controls or flashlights are usually powered by simple, non-rechargeable batteries. For frequently used devices with higher power consumption, rechargeable batteries are commonly used. Popular types are AA and AAA batteries with a nominal voltage of 1.5 volts, and 9-volt batteries are typically designed as blocks.
• For particularly space-saving applications, such as hearing aids or laser pointers, there is a wide selection of device batteries and button cells.
• Motherboards also have a CMOS battery in the form of a lithium button cell of type CR2032 with 3 volts of voltage and a capacity of 190 to 225 mAh, ensuring that the clock and BIOS or UEFI settings are not lost even when the computer is disconnected from the power grid.
